Job Description
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to support our expanding ICU team. The APP will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a collaborative ICU setting alongside physicians, fellow APPs, and the e-ICU team.
Position Details:
- Manage 5–10 patients per shift
- Participate in ICU rounds at 10 AM and 10 PM
- 12-hour shifts (day and night); Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum 4 consecutive shifts
- Estimated 20 shifts per month
- No call required
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive critical care management
- Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement
- Arterial line placement
- Hemodialysis (HD) line placement
- Intubations (based on skill level and comfort)
- Collaborate with on-site physicians, APPs, and e-ICU support
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Illinois license required
- Minimum 1 year experience in critical care
- DEA and Illinois CSR required
- ACLS & BLS certifications required
