**Neurosurgery PA opening in Cooperstown, NY**
A progressive academic health system in Central New York is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its Neurosurgery Division, working alongside two surgeons and another advanced practice provider.
**Position Highlights:**
* Participate in clinic (new, established, and post-op patients), telemedicine, floor management, and first-assist in the OR
* No neurosurgery call required; general surgical call is optional with additional compensation
* OR days: 2 - 3 times per week; clinic typically runs 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
* Strong academic affiliations with major teaching institutions
* Previous surgical experience preferred but not required
**Compensation & Benefits:**
* Salary range: $122,086 - $150,000 (based on experience, education, and licensure)
* Sign-on bonus up to $50k
* Generous paid time off
