**Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Urgent Care / Occupational Medicine**
**Board certified as FNP or PA-C l Full-Time Position**
Position Overview:
• Treats patients for urgent care and occupational medicine needs
• Performs physical exams, takes histories, orders/interprets tests
• Manages minor injuries, episodic illnesses, and work-related health issues
• Conducts DOT and fitness-for-duty exams
• Provides emergency stabilization care if needed
• Works independently with physician available for consultation
Clinical Procedures May Include:
• Laceration repair (sutures/staples/Dermabond)
• Splinting fractures
• Foreign body removal
• Incision/drainage of abscesses
• Pelvic exams, EKG, and X-ray interpretation
• Basic airway management and CPR
Requirements:
• Master’s degree (NP or PA) from an accredited program
• Board certified as FNP or PA-C
• Active NC license and DEA eligibility
• DOT-certified or willing to obtain
• 2+ years’ experience in urgent care, ER, or occupational medicine preferred
