**Locums | Complex General Surgical Oncology | Inpatient + Outpatient + Call | Lewiston, ID (IMLC accepted)**
**Why This Role**
- Ongoing full-time coverage for 3-6 months
- Mix of elective oncology surgery, clinic, and call
- Opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Clinic Mon/Wed, surgery blocks Tue/Thu, 24-hr call 7-10 days/month
- Call: 1:4 beeper, 20-min response time, ~10% callback
- EMR: Athena & Meditech
- Trauma Level: III
**Clinical Details**
- Cases: Elective oncology surgeries, general surgery (adult and trauma), laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty; chest tube insertion; preferred skills in Nissen fundoplication, liver surgery, GI endoscopy, central line insertion
- Census: 15 patients per shift
- Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 MA, 2 office staff
**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Active ID or IMLC
- ATLS certification
- Experience in complex general surgical oncology and trauma surgery
- Comfortable with clinic, OR, and call responsibilities
**Skills Needed**
- General surgery (adult, trauma, laparoscopic)
- Chest tube placement
- Oncologic surgical procedures
