OB/GYN Physician – Locum Tenens

Location: Gallup Indian Medical Center – Gallup, NM
Schedule: Inpatient & Outpatient + 24–72 hr call shifts

This locum tenens role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to serve Native American communities in beautiful northwest New Mexico.

🔍 Position Details

• Inpatient & outpatient OB/GYN care

• Outpatient clinic visits: diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education

• Surgical procedures including laparoscopic techniques

• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams and specialty referrals

• EMR documentation and safe prescribing practices

• Call coverage: • Weekdays: Mon–Thurs, 24-hour shifts • Weekends: Fri–Mon, 72-hour coverage • Holidays begin at 8:00 am

✅ Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience

• Board Certified/Eligible by ABOG

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state or territory)

• ACLS or BLS certification

• EMR proficiency

• Cultural humility and respect for tribal communities

• Statement of Health

• Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, TB, Hep B, Flu, Tdap/Td

• Background check and IHS orientation required
