• 12-hour shifts -- 7 am - 7 pm days or 7 pm - 7 am nights
• 7 days on/7 days off schedule
• Census of 10 - 14 ICU patients per shift
• Required skills: intubation, central lines, arterial lines
• Additional procedures: paracentesis and thoracentesis
