Patient Volume: 47K annual volumeSpecialties: cardiology, oncology, neurology, obstetrics, orthopedics, urology, wound care and bariatricsCoverage Model: 48 hour physician coverage - 12 hour shifts; 22-34 hours NP/PA coverage - 10-12 hour shiftsNumber of Beds: 38 bed EDEMR: CernerAmbient/AI Scribe licenses included for full-time CliniciansQualificationsLicensure: Current Texas Medical License and DEABoard Certification: Board Certified ABEM Badges: ACLS, and PALS required. ATLS once in career.Facility & Clinical DetailsAbout Laredo Medical Center: Laredo Medical Center is home to a 26,000 square-foot emergency room (ER) that includes 38 private treatment rooms that offer bedside registration, flat screen TVs, access to designated bathrooms and a shower, a specialized gynecology exam room, in-house lab for quick turnaround results and an in-house radiology unit with all digital equipment. Laredo Medical Center is an Accredited Chest Pain Center Level v6 with Primary PCI to diagnose and care for people with heart attack symptoms.  Community InformationThe Texas city of Laredo, county seat of Webb County, is situated on the north bank of the Rio Grande.
