Job Description

TeamHealth has an excellent, full-time opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our team in beautiful northern Washington. This float position provides the opportunity to work shifts at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, and Island Health in Anacortes - with the majority of shifts based at Island Health.

Opportunity Overview
  • Flexible employment options: W2 with full comprehensive benefits or 1099 independent contractor
  • Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $210 to $250 hourly and the opportunity to earn additional bonus compensation through our RVU incentive plan; option to choose between independent contractor or full-time employee status; full-time clinicians are eligible for an excellent comprehensive benefits package to include: 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, long and short term disability, FSA, group term life insurance, and employee assistance program

  • Skagit Valley Hospital: a 137-bed community hospital in Mount Vernon providing comprehensive services, including a Level III trauma center and busy emergency department
  • Cascade Valley Hospital: a 48-bed facility in Arlington offering 24/7 emergency services and serving as a vital healthcare resource for northern Snohomish County
  • Island Health: a 43-bed community hospital in Anacortes known for patient-centered care, modern facilities, and strong connections to the island community
  • All three hospitals are located within approximately 20 to 30 minutes of one another, making it easy to float between sites while still enjoying a consistent community and lifestyle

Qualifications
  • Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited EM residency program
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care
