**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Schedule: Call coverage Friday–Sunday and occasional weekday vacation call, 6a–6a
- Patients per Day: 10–15 (1–2 admissions, 8–10 ICU, 1–2 surgeries)
- Call Details: In-house call, responsible for clinical oversight and supervision while on call
- EMR: Epic

**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery
- Active CO license or IMLC accepted
- ACLS and BLS (AHA required)
- Clean background and malpractice history
- Proof of recent dissections case logs required
- Must be able to perform all required cardiac procedures

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Adult-only cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, ICU coverage, inpatient and operative management
- Typical Procedures:
- Coronary artery bypass (on- and off-pump)
- Valvular repair and replacement
- Aortic aneurysm repair (thoracic and abdominal)
- ECMO cannulation and stabilization
- TAVR, Mitraclips, lead extraction
- Congenital defect repair (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.)
- Central/arterial line, PA catheter, IABP placement

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed (flights, lodging, car rental, mileage per policy)
