**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP (post-credentialing)
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Schedule: 12- or 24-hour in-house shifts (8a–8p or 8a–8a); weekdays required, weekends optional
- Patients per Day: Call-based (average 65–80 deliveries per month; 2–5 nursery admits per day)
- Call Details: Ratio 1:5; call schedule set 1–2 months in advance
- EMR: Cerner

**Requirements**
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active IA license or IMLC (with LOQ at name clear)
- Fetal monitoring proficiency
- Must be available Mon–Fri with some weekends
- Clean history
- 2 references required (one from a supervisor)

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: OB/GYN hospitalist inpatient call coverage
- Typical Procedures:
- Obstetrics: low- and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I), amniocentesis
- Deliveries: vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, VBAC, abruption management, laceration repair
- Gynecology: open, laparoscopic minor (tubal ligation, LOA), major operative (ectopic, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA)
- Support: Labor & delivery staff, postpartum, OR, ER, 1–2 CNMs; residents may be on call with locum

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids (rate caps apply)
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed (flight, hotel, rental car)
