CRNA Locums Massachusetts (Academic Health System)

Position Details

• Setting: Academic health system across multiple hospital campuses and outpatient facilities in central Massachusetts

• Start Date: September 1, 2025 (ongoing)

• Duration: Flexible / ongoing locum assignment

• Shifts Available: 12-, 16-, 18-, and 24-hour shifts

• Shift Volume: Varies by location (e.g., 16 ORs at Memorial, 13 ORs plus NORA at University, 8 ORs at each ASC, GI, Hahnemann, and Marlboro)

• Shifts Per Provider: Typically working alongside 8–12 CRNAs per shift

• Call: None

• Orientation: Credentialing across three main campuses (shared file); separate for ASC/Marlboro

Practice & Facility Information

• Work Environment: Part of a large academic anesthesia care team (~160 providers), teaching and high-acuity sites, exposure to trauma, neuro, cardiac, transplant, OB, ortho, ENT, general surgery

• Support Staff: Medically supervised model—no AAs; physician-led regionals

• EMR System: EPIC

• Telehealth: Not applicable

• Malpractice: Covered by facility (standard locum arrangement implied)

• Credentialing: Centralized for Memorial, University, Hahnemann campuses; ASC and Marlboro require separate applications; presentation includes two references (one physician), followed by a one-time phone screen with one administrator and one physician

Certifications Required

• CRNA certification (mandatory)

• Board Certified (BC)

• Massachusetts license preferred but not required — out-of-state providers welcome
