 • Case Mix: Full spectrum of orthopaedic cases including trauma, sports, and joint reconstruction

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
 • Assist in orthopaedic surgeries including joint replacement, trauma, and sports procedures
 • Perform outpatient orthopaedic procedures as delegated by supervising physicians

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 • Licenses: Active NC Physician Assistant license (or eligibility)
 • Board: NCCPA certification required
 • DEA: Active DEA Certification required
 • Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
 • Experience: Orthopaedic experience strongly preferred
 • Other Qualifications: Ability to participate in surgical and outpatient orthopaedic care

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 • Provide clinical and surgical support in orthopaedic practice
 • Participate in patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
 • Assist orthopaedic surgeons during surgical procedures
 • Share call responsibilities (1:3 schedule, including weekends)
 • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in EMR
 • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for coordinated patient care
