**Assignment Details**

- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient hospital medicine, GI service
- EMR: Epic
- Privileges: Required (no temporary privileges available)
- Estimated Credentialing: ~90 days
- Patient Volumes: 15–25 per shift
- Support Staff: Not specified

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active North Carolina license
- ACLS, BLS
- Minimum 1 year of GI experience
- Must be proficient with endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)

**Clinical Details**
- Required: Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Preferred:
- Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeding control, variceal injections, ERCP, PEG placement)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy (biopsy and polypectomy)
- Liver biopsy, Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- Adult medicine only
- Average patient load: 15–25 per day

**Compensation**
