**OB Hospitalist Opening in Fort Worth, TX**
Full-Time or Part-Time | 24-Hour Shifts | No On-Call | Permanent Position
A well-established hospital in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist to join its labor and delivery team. This is a permanent opportunity with flexible scheduling, a collaborative work environment, and a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.
**Position Highlights:**
* Full-time = 7.5 24-hour shifts/month
* Part-time = Minimum of 5.5 24-hour shifts/month (still benefits-eligible)
* Must reside locally or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance available)
* No on-call responsibilities
* Start as soon as possible with an active Texas license
**Responsibilities:**
* Handle an annual delivery volume of ~1,924 deliveries
* Perform vaginal and C-section deliveries (hospitalist team performs ~96 annually)
* Manage 40% C-section rate
* Oversee 2,296 unscheduled OB/GYN triage visits and 1,229 OBED consults annually
* Provide inpatient care, OB triage, admissions, ER consults for GYN emergencies
* Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections
* Respond to obstetric emergencies
* Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and in-house neonatal team
* Work in a Level II NICU setting alongside neonatologists and NNPs
* Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
**Requirements:**
* Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in OB/GYN
* Active Texas medical license or in process
* DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)
**Compensation & Benefits:**
* Hourly rate: $135/hr
* Potential sign-on bonus (full-time only, discussed at interview)
* Relocation assistance available, if applicable
