A well-established medical group in southern Colorado is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Neurosurgeon to join a growing team in a high-demand, underserved community. This is a replacement position with strong case volume and the opportunity to build a robust elective spine practice.
**Position Highlights**
* General Neurosurgery with opportunity to develop elective spine practice
* Join a collaborative team of 1 Neurosurgeon and 4 experienced Advanced Practice Providers
* Practice settings include inpatient, outpatient, and clinic
* Clinic co-located with pain management services and on-site imaging
* Access to advanced neuro-navigation technology (robotics and navigation systems)
* EMR: Epic
* Trauma Level III facility
**Schedule**
* 2 days in clinic
* 2 days in the operating room
* 1 flexible day
**Patient Volume**
* Clinic: 8–12 patients per day
* Additional patient support from APPs
**Call Responsibilities**
* ER call: 7 days per month
* Primarily remote imaging review with minimal in-person requirements
* Floor calls managed by APPs
* Weekend call: Approximately 1 weekend per month
**Requirements**
* Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (within 5 years of eligibility and actively pursuing certification within 4 years)
* Eligible for or willing to obtain Colorado medical license
* DEA required prior to start
* Clean malpractice history
* Current NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) required
* Candidates should not be commuting long distances (>1 hour) or holding concurrent full-time roles
**Compensation & Benefits**
* Salary: $800,000 – $877,000 annually
