- Annual ED Volume: 39,000 visits
- ED Beds: 25 beds with behavioral health and trauma bays
- Acuity: Medium, 12% admission rate
- EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation, plus Cleo AI scribe for efficient documentation
- Coverage: 38 hours of physician, 20 hours of APC coverage
- Level III Trauma Center with strong surgical support
- Consistent long-term nursing staff team
- Excellent specialist support with a wide variety of specialists available on call
Medical Director Overview
- ABEM/AOBEM certification preferred - can accept ABFM with EM experience
- Must have prior clinical leadership experience in emergency medicine
- Lead and manage a team of EM physicians and APCs
- Drive patient experience initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and departments to optimize ED operations
- Impact department growth by supporting physician recruitment, orientation, retention, and professional development
- Actively engage in departmental and leadership meetings
