Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Locums Anesthesia Physician for an exciting temporary opportunity in the beautiful coastal city of Port Charlotte, FL. This position involves providing scheduled anesthesia services and on-call coverage in a hospital-based setting, offering a chance to work with a diverse patient population and a collaborative surgical team.

The work schedule includes weekday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with beeper call coverage required from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays. Weekend coverage consists of 24-hour beeper call responsibilities. You will be managing anesthesia care for a variety of cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and outcomes.

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (required).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current DEA certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
