**Surgical Oncology Opening in Ashland, KY**
Lexington 123m; Cincinnati, OH 146m
Seeking a Breast Surgeon specializing in Surgical Oncology. You’ll join a respected and experienced breast surgeon whose large and expanding patient volume, combined with a nearby retiring provider, creates an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact.
* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
* Practice Setting: Hospital-based, outpatient-focused
* Time Split: 2–3 days OR / 2–3 days clinic
* Average Volume: 20+ patients/day
* EMR: EPIC
**Highlights**
* Focus on Breast Surgery Only – No general surgery or call requirements
* Established Oncology Infrastructure – Collaborative environment with medical and radiation oncolog
* Multidisciplinary Tumor Board – Participate in weekly meetings to develop customized treatment plans
* Dedicated Breast Imaging Support – Two full-time breast imagers (including one fellowship-trained)
* State-of-the-Art Cancer Center – Surgical, medical, and radiation oncology services all on one campus
* Strong Patient Demand – Large catchment area (~750,000 population) with growing surgical volumes
**Qualifications**
* Board certified or board eligible
* Fellowship-trained oncologist breast surgeon
**Compensation & Benefits**
