A growing health system in northern Illinois is seeking a BE/BC Outpatient Gastroenterologist to join their expanding team in Rockford, IL. Key Responsibilities
Shape and grow a dynamic digestive health program to meet a rapidly expanding community need.
Receive quaternary support from a major university hospital with access to weekly tumor boards and clinical trials.
Collaborate with a primary care network of 140 providers to ensure a strong referral base and continuity of care.
Work with an interdisciplinary cancer team at a leading cancer center with significant local market share.
Local teaching opportunities with rotating GI residents, fellows, and medical students.
State-of-the-art facilities with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
Utilize EPIC EMR for streamlined patient care coordination.

Qualifications
MD or DO required
Active DEA license or the ability to apply for one prior to or upon hire
Active Illinois medical license required
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (Board certification must be obtained within 5 years)
Bi-annual CPR certification preferred
