**Infectious Disease Physician – Hartford, CT**
**Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease**
• Join a dynamic and collaborative team of 26 Infectious Disease Physicians, with a culture of inclusion, innovation, research, teaching, and high-quality care.
• Opportunity to practice across a broad network that includes academic medical centers, community teaching hospitals, and a large multi-specialty medical group.
• Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, responsibilities include:
o Outpatient consultations, including HIV and Hepatitis C treatment
o Inpatient consultations at an academic medical center
o Wound care management
o Active involvement in infection control and hospital epidemiology programs
o Participation in post-graduate medical education (fellows, residents, and medical students), with academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level
o Collaboration with an active hospitalist program for inpatient care
o Shared call responsibilities with other ID physicians
o Opportunities to work in transplant medicine
o Access to research resources and opportunities
Qualifications:
o BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician
o Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut
