**APP – Critical Care (Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner)**
**Location: New Britain, CT**
**Setting: Inpatient, Critical Care**

Schedule: Full-time, day/night rotating schedule (13-hour shifts)
Shift Detail: 06:30 AM – 07:30 PM, 06:30 PM – 07:30 AM; rotating days/nights/weekends
Call Schedule: No call

Position Highlights:
• Full-time opportunity to provide comprehensive care to critically ill medical and surgical patients.
• Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, rounding, and performing procedures (central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes).

Role Scope:
• Perform routine physical examinations, medical management, and care planning under established guidelines.
• Develop medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Provide appropriate treatment for patient needs within scope of practice, with referrals made when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligibility)
• Training: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: New graduates welcome to apply!
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a critical care setting
