**Locums | NP/PA Cardiovascular Surgery | Clinic + Call | Spokane, WA (IMLC accepted)**
**Why This Role**
- Support a busy cardiothoracic surgery team at a well-established regional medical center
- Collaborate closely with 4 surgeons and 4 experienced PAs
- Opportunity to assist in OR, ICU, and stepdown settings
**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: 7a–5p (M–F); Call 5p–7a; Weekend call Friday 5p–Monday 7a
- Call Rotation: Every 3rd weekday and every 4th weekend
- Procedures: Vein and radial harvesting (Maquet System), conduit preparation, chest tube management, first assist, post-op orders, sternotomy closure (per surgeon preference)
- EMR: Epic
**Requirements**
- NP or PA
- Active WA license or IMLC
- BLS required
- Experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery required
- Ability to round, discharge, and assist in both ICU and OR settings
- Comfortable managing post-op patients and performing surgical assists
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
