**Position Highlights**
- Level I Trauma Center seeking Neurosurgeon for urgent and emergent cases
- 24-hour call coverage, minimum 1 week per month
- Dedicated neuro-interventional support in-house
**Coverage**
- Start: Jan 26, 2026
- End: Feb 22, 2027
- Schedule: 24-hour call (7a–7a), 7 days per month
- Trauma Level: I
- EMR: Epic
**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Active OH license
- Active DEA
- BLS and ACLS
**Clinical Details**
- Setting: Hospital-based, Level I Trauma
- Cases: 1-2 emergent surgical cases per day
- Procedures include:
- Brain bleed stoppage
- Clot removal
- Tumor resection
- Shunt insertion or revision
- Trauma repair
- Spine stabilization and reconstruction
- Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty
- Spinal fusion, laminectomy, discectomy
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Team: 1 employed and 1 non-employed neurosurgeon on staff
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
