**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: 11/10/2025
- End Date: 12/11/2026
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: 24-hour onsite call; approximately 10 patients per day
- Procedures: Endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP
- Case Types: GI bleed, SBO, food bolus, ulcers, gastritis, abdominal pain
- Rounding: Yes; hospitalists handle admissions
- EMR: Paragon (transitioning to Epic in 2026)
- Support Staff: Endoscopy-trained GI nursing staff
- Average Callbacks: ~4 hours per week

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active TX license
- ACLS certification
- Completed Gastroenterology residency
- ERCP required
- Clean malpractice history preferred

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Inpatient-only consults and GI procedures
- Typical Procedures:
- Endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP
- Sedation: Conscious sedation preferred (anesthesia available)

**Compensation**
