**Locums | NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery | Call Only | Charlotte, NC (IMLC accepted)**
**Why This Role**
- Support a high-volume cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team
- Perform inpatient and operative assistance with flexible four-day workweeks
- Opportunity to utilize independent vein harvesting skills in a collaborative environment
**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (7a–5p), days flexible
- Call Type: 2nd Call / Backup
- Call Response Time: 45 minutes
- Required Skill: Independent vein harvest
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: RNs, MAs, APPs, and surgical office staff
**Requirements**
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Board Certified
- Active NC license or IMLC
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Prior vein harvest experience required
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
