Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Advanced Practice Provider for an inpatient locum tenens assignment in Maryland. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday role with no weekend or call requirements. Providers will round on existing inpatients and manage new consults as requested by hospital medicine.
Position Highlights
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Setting: Inpatient only
- Call: None
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 5
- EMR: Epic
- Average Census: 3–5 admissions per day
- Workload: AM rounding on all inpatients listed under Palliative Care; respond to new consults as needed
Requirements
- NP or PA
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years
- Licensure: Maryland license preferred
- Must have BLS, DEA, and CSR
