**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Setting: Inpatient (Hospital & Endoscopy)
- Schedule: 1:4 rotation, Friday 4p–Friday 4p (24-hour call with beeper)
- Start Date: Mid-December 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Call Type: Beeper (overnight coverage)
- Credentialing: Start mid-to-late December
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- Patient Volume: 4–12 inpatient consults per day
- Patient Population: Adult only
- Consult Types: Floor, ED, ICU, emergent GI and endoscopy consults
- Required Procedures:
- Upper GI Endoscopy (diagnostic, therapeutic, biopsy, PEG, variceal banding/injection, foreign body removal, fulguration)
- Esophageal Dilatation and Manometry
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy (Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy)
- EUS/ERCP: Not required
- Onsite Services: Laboratory and X-ray available

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- Certification: BLS required
- ERCP certification preferred but not required

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
