Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Rate: Negotiable (tell us your rate)
Job Details
Full-time, long-term assignment (through July 2026)
Provider will work hospital (First Assisting) or clinic hours with call
Schedule:
Surgical First Assist: 10–12 days/month
Clinic: 2–4 days/month
Call: 7–8 days/month (24-hour weekend call + night call during the week)
Call Duties: Inpatient rounding and first-assist callback
Patients per shift: ~8
EMR: Epic
Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
Trauma Level: II
Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 MA, and office staff support
Requirements
Board Certified NP or PA – Required
WA License or IMLC – Required prior to start
ACLS & BLS – Required
Minimum 1 year of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience – Required
Must be comfortable first assisting in the OR and managing post-op patients
Clean malpractice & background history preferred
Schedule & Logistics
OT eligible after 40 clinical hours/week
Lodging: Long-term housing pre-approval required (up to $3,000/month)
Credentialing timeframe: ~60 days (no temporary privileges available)
Nearest major airport: Tri-Cities Airport (PSC)
