Are you a nurse practitioner (NP) or a physician assistant (PA) with a strong clinical background in primary care? Do you enjoy practicing medicine with total health and rehabilitation in mind? Enjoy a 6 to 8-hour workday with no overnight call? TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and driven nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our post-acute care team in the Clinton, North Carolina, area. This part-time weekend rounding opportunity in skilled nursing facilities highlights excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $50,342 - $60,411 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.

- Saturday to Sunday, scheduled presence model

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Current NP or PA license (State of North Carolina) and DEA.
- Experience in post-acute, acute, emergency medicine, or clinic settings preferred but not required; new grads welcome to apply
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
- Able to commute, relocate, and provide in person rounding in Clinton
