**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient (OR-based)
- Start Date: January–February 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0630–1630
- Weekend Coverage: Call only (rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call; 1st call utilized ~75% of the time)
- Night Call: Every 3–4 days
- Supervision: Care team model (6 physicians, 2 CRNAs)
- Daily Volume: 30–50 total cases across 13 ORs
- Procedures: General anesthesia, OB (including TOLAC), healthy pediatrics, and conscious sedation
- Exclusions: No cardiac or neurosurgery cases
- EMR: Epic (as of May 2025)

**Clinical Details**
- Case Mix: General, OB, pediatric (ENT/tonsils/adenoids), vascular, ortho, GI, GYN, urology
- Environment: Collaborative anesthesia group with comprehensive surgical support
- Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage, rotating schedule
- Orientation: Paid after 8 hours if extended

**Requirements**
- Board Certified Anesthesiologist (no BE accepted)
- Active Iowa license or IMLC accepted (must provide LOQ at name clear)
- ACLS required (may obtain during credentialing)
- COVID vaccination required
- Clean malpractice and background (no settled or pending cases)
- Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
