Job Description

Lead an integrated addiction medicine and primary care program serving a diverse patient population in Marin County, CA. This role combines leadership in substance use disorder (SUD) services with direct clinical care.

Position Overview

  • Full-time, onsite (Monday"Friday)

  • 50% primary care, 30% addiction clinical leadership, 20% administrative time

  • Relocation assistance available

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership for addiction treatment, including policy development, training, and interdisciplinary coordination

  • Deliver direct care to patients with substance use disorders using evidence-based treatment models

  • Serve as a primary care provider for a patient panel

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, prescribe medications, and manage continuity of care

  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with valid California medical license and DEA registration

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

  • Minimum 3 years of addiction medicine or fellowship training

  • BLS certification required

  • Spanish language skills preferred; EPIC experience a plus
