Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 12-week Tele-Psychiatry assignment in North Carolina. This part-time role runs Monday through Wednesday and begins late January
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday 8 AM – 5 PM, Tuesday 8 AM – 7 PM, Wednesday 8 AM – 5 PM
- Setting: Outpatient Tele-Psychiatry (Clinic-based patient population)
- Patient Load: 12–15 patients per day, all scheduled (no walk-ins)
- Patient Demographics: Mostly adults with some adolescents ages 12+
- Visit Times: 60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow-ups
- EMR: eClinicalWorks
- Call: None
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified
- Licensure: North Carolina medical license required; Virginia license a plus
- DEA: Active NC DEA required; VA DEA a plus
- Experience: Must be comfortable treating adolescents (ages 12+)
