Locums OBGYN Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to provide locum coverage in West Branch, Michigan. This role includes both inpatient and procedural coverage, performing obstetric and gynecologic procedures in a community hospital setting.

 

Assignment Details:

 

• Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
• Specific Dates Needing Coverage:
• November 6, 8:00 AM – November 7, 8:00 AM
• November 28, 8:00 AM – November 29, 8:00 AM
• December 24, 8:00 AM – December 27, 8:00 AM
• EMR / Dictation: EPIC / Dragon

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for obstetric and gynecologic patients, including admissions, labor and delivery, and postpartum management
• Perform procedures including:
• Suction D&C
• Laparoscopy
• Reading Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
• Cesarean Sections
• Circumcisions
• Tubal Ligations
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
• Follow hospital protocols and participate in patient safety and quality initiatives

 

Requirements:

 

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN
• Active Michigan Medical License or IMLC eligible
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience performing obstetric and gynecologic procedures in a hospital setting
