Locums OB Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums OB Hospitalist Physician to provide high-quality, inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care at a well-established facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in OB/GYN with recent hands-on experience managing obstetric triage, deliveries, and gynecologic emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated women’s health team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Manage OB triage and admissions, evaluating and treating patients as needed
• Attend and manage labor and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean)
• Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
• See unassigned patients and provide private call coverage
• Provide ER consults for gynecologic emergencies
• Serve as first assist during cesarean sections and other surgical procedures
• Respond to emergencies in Labor and Delivery, including OB hemorrhage, preterm labor, and fetal distress situations
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other members of the perinatal care team to ensure optimal outcomes

 

Requirements:

 

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) – Board Eligible not accepted
• Active Texas medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience
• Recent OB/GYN clinical experience within the past 12 months
