Position Overview
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Illinois for ongoing night coverage. This role offers a steady schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a Level II trauma center supported by strong hospital resources and staff.
Details
- Shift: Nights only – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Shifts per Month: Approximately 10
- Coverage: Single physician coverage at night
- Average Admissions: 1.8 per night
- Average Volume: ~2 patients per hour
- Procedures: Intubations, central lines, joint reductions, procedural sedation, laceration repair, lumbar punctures
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Active Illinois Medical License required
- Certifications: ACLS, CSR
- DEA: Required
- Minimum 1 year post-residency
