**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Setting: Inpatient
- Dates: 1/1–18, 2/1–14, 3/1–15 (2026)
- Schedule: 24-hour call (6a–6a, not required to be in-house)
- Census: Well babies 1–5 (up to 7); NICU 0–5 (usually 1–3); Pediatrics 0–1
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: 60–90 days
- Privileges: Temporary privileges available

**Clinical Details**
- Neonatal airway management and intubation
- Management of neonatal pneumothorax (needle decompression)
- Emergent UVC placement in delivery room
- UVC/UAC placement
- Lumbar puncture
- EKG interpretation
- Preferred: Ventilator management and neonatal chest tube insertion

**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years of residency) in Pediatrics
- Active California medical license
- NRP and PALS required
- Two years of recent inpatient hospital experience
- Clean background preferred but not required

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
