Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage in Illinois. Providers will support both the Level I Newborn Nursery and Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) in a collaborative, autonomous clinical environment.
Position Highlights
- Five (5) 24-hour shifts every two weeks (approximately 10 shifts per month)
- 24-hour call, including 8 hours on-site for clinic; provider may take remaining call off-site and return if called in
- Responsibilities include:
- Newborn assessments and delivery attendance
- Respiratory management and stabilization
- Coordination of care with nursing and medical staff
- Full and temporary privileges available
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certification: Required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with demonstrated independent practice
- State License: Active Illinois license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CSR, DEA
