**Assignment Details**

- Schedule: Day shifts (8–12 hours) with night call coverage
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Patients per Day: 5–10
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Call Ratio: 5–25
- Call Back: ~60%
- EMR: Cerner
- Trauma Level: 2

**Requirements**
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Pennsylvania license
- ACLS and BLS
- Prior Orthopedic Surgery or Trauma experience required
- Clean history

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Orthopedic Trauma coverage for unassigned inpatients and ED consults
- Responsibilities:
- Rounding on orthopedic trauma patients
- Assisting in the OR
- Performing fracture reductions and suturing
- Managing post-op care and follow-ups
- Responding to ED and inpatient consults
- Collaborating with trauma and orthopedic surgeons as needed
- Staffing Model:
- Two APPs during the day and one overnight
- Support from orthopedic and trauma attending teams

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
