Locums OBGYN Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to provide locum coverage in West Branch, Michigan, with scheduled coverage from December 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM through December 27, 2025, at 8:00 AM, and a high likelihood of additional coverage opportunities at other locations in 2026. This role includes both inpatient and procedural responsibilities, performing a range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures in a community hospital setting.

 

Assignment Details:

 

• Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
• Specific Dates Needing Coverage:
• December 24, 2025, 8:00 AM – December 27, 2025, 8:00 AM
• Future Coverage: Additional opportunities expected throughout 2026 at affiliated sites
• Setting: Inpatient and procedural coverage
• EMR / Dictation: EPIC / Dragon

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Provide comprehensive care for obstetric and gynecologic patients, including admissions, labor and delivery, and postpartum management
• Perform procedures including:
• Suction D&C
• Laparoscopy
• Reading Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
• Cesarean Sections
• Circumcisions
• Tubal Ligations
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Accurately document patient encounters and procedures in the EMR
• Follow hospital protocols and participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives

 

Requirements:

 

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Michigan Medical License or IMLC eligible
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
