**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Schedule: 1–2 call days per week plus one weekend per month (7a–7p)
- Practice Setting: Inpatient + OR
- EMR: Epic
- Call Type: 7a–7p weekday and weekend coverage
- Call Ratio: 1–2 days per week + 1 weekend/month
- Trauma Level: N/A

**Requirements**
- Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Kentucky license (or ability to obtain)
- ACLS and BLS
- Clean history
- Proficient in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection assistance

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: Full-spectrum cardiothoracic surgery APP role with primary OR and inpatient duties
- Responsibilities:
- First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracic procedures
- Vein harvesting and chest tube placement
- ICU and telemetry patient management
- Weekend rounding, inpatient procedures, and surgical coverage
- Schedule Notes:
- Weekend call: Friday 7a–Monday 7a
- Orientation/training paid after 8 hours
- Support: Directly supports surgical team; no additional APP support
- Facility actively recruiting for full-time permanent PA

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
