Location: Syracuse, NY
Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

Seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a Bariatric Surgery team. Under physician supervision, this provider will deliver a wide range of medical services, including patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, assisting in procedures, and providing patient education and counseling.

Qualifications:

Current New York State certification/registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies
Strong knowledge of current clinical standards, infection control, and patient safety practices
Experience with patient education and health promotion
