**Assignment Details**
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Department
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
- Call: 5p–8a (unrestricted if able), 1 weekday and 1:4 weekends
- Average Census: 12 patients per day
- Beds: 27
- Team: 5 Psychiatrists, 6 APPs
- Supervision: Psychiatric NP supervision required
- Referrals: Primarily from Muskegon and Grand Rapids EDs
- Safety Measures: Staff duress system, 24/7 onsite security
- Patient Population: Adult only (no pediatrics)
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: ~3 months, need coverage ASAP

**Clinical Scope**
- Treat anxiety, affective, personality, developmental, and psychotic disorders
- Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and pharmacotherapy
- Conduct group therapy and manage restraint applications

**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active Michigan license or IMLC/LOQ
- BLS certification
- Available for full-time coverage starting January 2026

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
