Join a team in Honolulu and Ewa Beach, HI, providing general anesthesiology coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This locum tenens opportunity is for supplemental clinical coverage with ongoing needs starting ASAP. You’ll have flexible scheduling options—pick from 4x10-hour, 5x8-hour, or 12-hour shifts—typically covering two weeks per month. Full-time availability is preferred, but we’re open to swing, weekend, and call-only arrangements.

What you’ll do

• Provide clinical anesthesia care and take 24-hour in-house OB call.
• Cover two facilities as needed, supporting a mix of routine and high-acuity cases.
• Work across settings that include same-day surgery suites, endoscopy, cath lab/IR sites, and multiple ORs.

Case mix and facilities

• Facility 1 (Level I trauma): 17 ORs, six same-day suites, five endoscopy suites, cath labs and IR—high-acuity trauma, cardiac (CABG, TAVR), liver and kidney transplants, neuro, OB/GYN, thoracic, and ortho trauma.
• Facility 2: Four ORs, one procedure room, five same-day surgery suites—general/bread-and-butter cases, neuro/spine, GI, and minimally invasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements

• Board certified in anesthesiology.
• Active Hawaii medical license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
