JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Maryland license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Board: Board Certified
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CSR license
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in CV OR; must have cardiovascular OR experience
- Other Qualifications: Proficiency in vein harvesting with Vasoview hemopro
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrive at 6:30am, review OR patients, and complete interval H&P notes
- Assist in 12 CV surgery cases per day, averaging 25 days/week
- Provide post-op care including central/arterial lines, chest tubes, and wound vac management
- Support consults and CV ICU patients when not in OR
- Manage 815 patients in collaboration with surgical team until discharge
- Participate in team-based care; not a solo role
