Locum Tenens CRNA — OR/Surgery Center (Carlisle, PA)

Join a well-staffed team in Carlisle, PA, providing supplemental locum tenens coverage with a mostly outpatient focus. This role is clinical only and initially starts Jan 5, 2026 with ongoing coverage expected. Typical weekday schedule is Monday–Friday, covering OR, surgery center, and L&D shifts with block lengths of 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts (coverage until about 7 PM). Expect a high-volume practice: roughly 25 cases per day across seven main ORs and three surgery center rooms.

Practice mix and duties

• 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient; overall about 95% surgical cases, 5% other
• Rotation: ~80% Main OR, 15% surgery center, 5% L&D
• Case mix: outpatient “bread-and-butter” cases plus occasional ICU intubations for inpatients
• Common procedures: spinals, airway management, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), general anesthesia
• You’ll provide 100% medical supervision and assist with L&D coverage for C-sections and spinal placement

Patient population and volume

• ~90% adults, ~10% pediatrics
• Typical daily volume: ~25 cases

• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available)
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania license
• Board certified/eligible (BC)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPR certifications
• Prior obstetrics (OB) experience required
