We’re hiring a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the inpatient surgical team in East Chicago, IN. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with a shared on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays alongside our anesthesiologists. Start date will follow credentialing, typically 90–120 days after an offer.

Who you’ll care for and what to expect

• Primary patient population: adult and geriatric surgical patients.
• Case mix: general, orthopedic, cardiac, obstetric, and outpatient surgical anesthesia.
• This is a procedure-focused role (no routine admissions or daily medical rounding); consults and follow-ups are completed per case management needs.
• Daily volume varies with the OR schedule and surgical caseload.

The team and workplace

• You’ll be part of the surgical services department and chart in Epic.
• We operate a full anesthesia care team model with physician anesthesiologists and surgical specialists for backup.
• Support includes experienced anesthesia technicians and perioperative nurses.
• You’ll report to the Chief CRNA and the Anesthesia Medical Director.
• Role exists to support expanding surgical volume.

Required credentials and compliance

• NBCRNA certified or board-eligible.
• Active Indiana CRNA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Active DEA registration, BLS and ACLS required.
• Credentialing typically completes within 90–120 days.
