Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiologist — Epic Hospital Coverage in Cades/Marion, SC (Weekday Shifts, Malpractice & Travel Covered)

We’re seeking a Diagnostic Radiology physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Cades and Marion, South Carolina. This is a hospital-based, clinical-only role starting 04/01/2026 and ongoing, intended to supplement the existing radiology team.

Schedule and locations

• Black River (Mon–Wed): 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Marion (Thu–Fri): 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Optional weekend day shifts (onsite at either location): 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Why this role exists

• Supplemental coverage as part of a four-radiologist pool supporting the Regional Health Network (RHN).

Clinical work and case mix

• Black River: general diagnostic studies, barium swallows, ultrasound-guided biopsies.
• Marion: general diagnostic studies, light interventional radiology (IR), liver biopsies, CT-guided biopsies.
• Typical workload targets around 70–80 RVUs per shift.

Procedures you’ll be expected to perform

• General diagnostic radiology
• Barium swallows
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Light IR procedures (primarily at Marion)
• Liver biopsies
• CT-guided biopsies

Facility and systems

• Hospital-based practice using Epic as the EMR.

Privileges, credentialing, and coverage

• Hospital privileges required.
• Credentialing timeline: approximately 90 days.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance: covered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years)
• Active South Carolina medical license or FCVS
