JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Texas license and DEA required
- Board: BC in EM, FP, or IM; if FP/IM, 2,000+ hours of ED experience required
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Trauma CME (9 hours annually)
- Experience: 2+ years EM experience for NP/PA; 2,000+ hours for non-EM physicians
- Other Qualifications: Clean file required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 12-hour clinical emergency coverage on flexible schedule
- Coordinate care with 11-hour APP shift coverage
- Manage ED patients across general emergency, OB, and surgical cases
- Accept and collaborate with moonlighting residents
- Accurately document in MedHost EMR
