We’re seeking an OB/GYN locum to join a supportive team in Renton, WA, covering both outpatient and inpatient needs from May 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. This is clinical-only supplemental coverage, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage a mixed obstetrics practice (roughly 70% low-risk, 30% high-risk) and office GYN care (about 50% office GYN, 30% surgical GYN).
• Provide prenatal care and interpret fetal heart tracings.
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.
• Finalize ultrasound reports (anatomy scans and GYN).
• Participate in office procedures (colpo, LEEP) and may assist in the OR when needed.
• Typical patient volume is about 18 patients per day; the group performs around 500 deliveries annually and averages two GYN surgeries per week.

The team and resources

• You’ll join a group of five OBGYNs with strong ancillary support: 5 RNs, 1 LPN, and 5 MAs.
• Onsite lab and ultrasound; equipment includes portable ultrasound, colposcope, and LEEP.
• Nursery Levels I and II, 10 L&D beds, 175 hospital beds total, and an 18-bed ICU.
• EMR: Epic.
• Hospital privileges required.

Logistics and support

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
• Shift schedule: Mon–Fri, 8a–5p.

Minimum requirements

• Active Washington medical license or IMLC participation
• Board certified (BC)
• BLS certification
