Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician — Clyde, NC (24‑hr Call, ASAP-Ongoing)

We’re seeking an OB/GYN to provide locum tenens coverage in Clyde, NC, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. This is supplemental coverage starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis, with specific dates initially needed (Sep 1, 2 & 11) and additional TBD/ongoing shifts. You’ll take 24-hour beeper call (1:3 call ratio) with a 30-minute response time and an expected 60% callback rate. Typical phone consults run 3–6 per shift, patient volume is usually 2–6, and the group averages about 215 deliveries annually.

What you’ll be doing

• Admit and round on patients as needed
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies, interpret fetal heart tracings (NST/CST/FSE)
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I screening/viability and Level II targeted/anatomic)
• Perform amniocentesis
• Provide routine and complicated deliveries, including repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Participate in surgical gynecology as needed

Requirements

• Active NC medical license
• BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Current ACLS and NRP certifications
• Electronic fetal monitoring experience within the last 2 years
• Up-to-date immunizations/vaccination documentation
